Taken back in February when I had time to be fit and thin and when I still did nudes. I've stopped doing them these days. It seemed less stressful. Hell, if someone came along and offered me $500 for a non-sexualised nude, I would leap at the chance but until that happens... I look better in clothes anyway.

It is interesting now to see how people back away the instant you say you don't do nudes. I recently modeled for free for a group of people purely out of interest. Only about 4 of the 30 or so photographers got in contact with me to send me the shots. One of these showed me some samples and said he would arrange to have them sent to me adding that he would love to work with me again and asking if I did nudes. I replied saying that I no longer did them but that I could give him the contact details of some fabulous models who did. In regards to a portrait shoot I apologised but said that I would have to charge. Once again, I offered to give him details of very good models who won't charge him if this didn't suit. He works full time, has expensive equipment and is an amateur photographer so I didn't feel bad about this. I never heard back from him. Not even to send me the images which I donated my time to make. Le sigh.


This was shot in a spot light in an empty theatre. The spot had L117 gel in it (I think, from memory). The reflection was not enhanced in the slightest.

You might want to double check with Becca regarding her ideas and whether or not you'll be able to do them, I think one involved a naked back shot but I think the rest had you reasonably covered.

For mine one idea can be skipped, the other I can just try to get your arms in front of your chest... or we can just pancake pacth you.

this is fabulous! that sucks about that guy...it is true that not doing nudes and charging for shoots causes alot of photographers to back away...I understand that feeling :/

Le sigh. Their loss, eh? I was mostly doing it to check it out for some upcoming models to see if I would recommend it to them so... their loss.

I'm pretty sure I didn't do any post on this. And I'm still confused that after this day, every time I shoot 117s, they go green. Perhaps it had a 202 gel on it. I like my 202s. They make skin pretty.

And it's totally shit that people won't work with you because you're not in the mood for getting your kit off. Nudity can be wonderful, but really, you usually create things that are much more interesting by covering a few things.

I think I put a 117 gel in that one but could be that it was labled incorrectly and it was actually 202. It is just one of those mysteries of life. And you were roxing me. ;)

nice work sahme aboutthe lack of definition on your right leg, it appears almsot as one huge leg selection and a trast tweak would help here.. ED rox but not on this one
