Description

Model: Pauly Blenheim

Photographer: Your host

Location: The garden of an abandoned house. Thank you very much to *clandestine-wishes for organising a shoot here.

Allllrighty, I'll be interested to see what you kiddies make of this. It is mighty different from my usual style.

I did a shoot on Saturday with Paul and two other actors from my school. It was all very conceptual and weird but, randomly at the end, I saw I had 15 shots left on my card, gave Paul a crocheted bed jacket and decided to take a few random, pretty photos. The light was amazing and this shot has some pretty rad lense flare going on, which makes me happy. This is much less edited than you might thing!

Nothing beats natural light and a pretty lad in lace.

Thoughts? I have absolutely no idea if you kids will take to it.

More, much stranger shots to come from that day.
Ye be warned.

The lighting in this is absolutely stunning, it works perfectly creating a halo of light behind him. The focus works really well, almost gives a slightly bokeh effect behind him with the red and green which is very pretty. He of course is lovely, I think the crotchet top was a great choice, adds to the hippy vibe the photos gives off. Its very different from your usual work but I really like it, I think the only thing I might have experimented with a bit more is where his face is in the frame. I think if he was a little bit more to the left so hes in that third rather than slightly off centre it would be perfect.
