One of my dearest friends, Alice Sainsbury.

I've had this image in my head for years. I didn't expect it to be so blue. This was the first shot I took and I have the white balance on my camera wrong. This happened. The next shot I adjusted and went on shooting with a normal coloured world. When I uploaded, I loved the blue. This is hardly edited. The exposure was just upped a little.

We shot this somewhere between Melbourne and Adelaide. Last year an incredibly attractive actor came up at the theatre school we were both studying at and said 'I hear you're from Adelaide. Would you like a lift home this holidays.' I said 'Gosh yes!' That actor was Alice and we bonded over the nine hour car trip and have loved eachother dearly ever since. It is hard to believe that she's only been in my life one year. Last week, I drove with her to Adelaide again. I was going for a two week visit and she was moving back to live before going overseas.

I will miss her heaps. (To use Adelaide's favourite word.) She is an incredible human being and I love her with all my heart.
